Welcome to the Queens Head at Watnall. We are a warm, friendly, independently-run traditional pub serving homemade food and cask ales and we are situated a short distance from Junction 26 of the M1. The pub itself dates back to the 18th century and comprises a central bar, three rooms with a variety of seating options and a real log burner which gives a cosy atmosphere in winter. You can choose to eat in the main dining area, the snug or the bar area. Dogs are allowed in the bar area.
We pride ourselves on being family-friendly and there is a children’s menu available plus high chairs on request. There is a play area in our beer garden with swings and a slide. In warmer weather, a bouncy castle is also available. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the garden and bar area. Our beer garden also has a heated smoking shelter and lots of seating. Monday night is quiz night and we have independent quiz masters to put your knowledge to the test. There are prizes including several on-the-spot prizes, and a game of Sticky 13s to follow, plus free sandwiches at the midway point.
